2. Platform Description

gotEM is a Web3-enabled marketplace connecting clients with professional private investigators (PIs) for legal investigation services. Our Platform facilitates secure transactions, communication, and collaboration between parties.

3. User Responsibilities

Users of the Platform agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and use of the Platform
• Maintain the security of their account credentials
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction
• Not interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform

4. Investigator Conduct

Private investigators using our Platform agree to:

• Hold all appropriate licenses and certifications required in their jurisdiction
• Conduct investigations in accordance with all applicable laws
• Maintain confidentiality of client information
• Provide accurate information about their qualifications and experience
• Not engage in any deceptive, unethical, or illegal practices

5. Client Conduct

Clients using our Platform agree to:

• Request only legal investigative services
• Provide accurate information related to their investigation requests
• Not use the Platform to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm others
• Use information obtained through investigations only for legal purposes

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on our Platform:

• Requesting or performing illegal investigations
• Harassment, stalking, or invasion of privacy beyond legal investigation parameters
• Sharing or posting illegal content
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting credentials
• Money laundering or other financial crimes
• Hacking, spoofing, or otherwise interfering with Platform operations

7. Legal Compliance

All users must comply with applicable laws, including but not limited to:

• Privacy and data protection laws
• Licensing requirements for private investigators
• Laws regarding surveillance, wiretapping, and electronic recording
• Anti-money laundering regulations
• Laws regarding the collection and use of personal information

8. Right to Remove Content

gotEM reserves the right to remove any content or user accounts that violate these Terms of Use or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

9. Cooperation with Authorities

gotEM will cooperate with law enforcement authorities and may disclose user information in response to valid legal processes, such as subpoenas, court orders, or search warrants.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use or engage in activities that could harm our Platform, our users, or third parties. Users who have their accounts terminated may be permanently banned from the Platform.

11. Payment and Fees

gotEM facilitates payment processing between clients and investigators. All payment terms should be agreed upon between the parties before work commences. Our Platform charges a small service fee for successful transactions.

12. Liability Limitations

gotEM serves as a marketplace connecting clients and investigators but is not responsible for the quality, legality, or outcomes of individual investigations. We do not provide investigation services directly and are not liable for the actions of users of our Platform.

13. Dispute Resolution

Users agree to attempt to resolve disputes with other users directly. If that fails, gotEM offers a dispute resolution process to help mediate conflicts related to services arranged through our Platform.

14. Modification of Terms

gotEM reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, but it is the user's responsibility to review these terms periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which gotEM is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
